Pianist Xin Xin, born in Beijing, China, began piano lessons at the age of four. At the age of eight he was chosen to study at the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music for gifted young musicians. During his adolescence, Mr. Xin immigrated to North America, where he started getting attention of the media through his successes in numerous competitions.
Mr. Xin has captivated audiences from all over the world, and his achievements are well depicted by his Experience on the stage. He has performed as soloist with the Edmonton Youth Orchestra, Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra, USC Thornton Symphony Orchestra, USC University Orchestra, USC Community Orchestra, Hour of Power Orchestra, Peninsula Symphony Orchestra, Marina del Rey Music Festival Orchestra, West Chester Symphony Orchestra, Redlands Symphony Orchestra, Torrance Symphony, Wuhan Symphony Orchestra, American Youth Symphony, and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Xin has also given many master classes at universities and conservatories in North America, Asia and Europe.
In 2008 Mr. Xin received the Artist Diploma from the prestigious Colburn Conservatory and employed as the teaching assistant of John Perry - his long time mentor upon graduation. Currently, he is holding a professorship at Central China Normal University, and also as the conductor of the University Orchestra.
