“Dr. Mengchen Xu possesses a superb command of technical precision intertwined with a profound narrative soul, creating a resonance that bridges rigorous logic and poetic artistry.” As a celebrated pianist and scholar, Dr. Xu is currently on the faculty of Xi’an Conservatory of Music, and also the Director of the Shaanxi and Xi’an Piano Association. She completed her studies at the Manhattan School of Music, where she graduated with distinction.

During Mengchen’s development as a musician, Her musical development was guided by world-renowned masters Dr. Solomon Mikowsky, Alexandre Moutouzkine, Vladimir Zanni,Pan Chun, and Lin JingJing.She’s been winning many piano competitions prizes include first prizes and special awards at the Young Rondo International Piano Competition in the U.S.. She was invited to the Euro Music Festival in Germany as a Young Artist.

Dr. Xu often gives masterclasses and lectures, as well as judging the piano competitions. She has also been interviewed by XinLang News, Wangyi News, Tengxun News, Sanqin Daily, Yangcheng Evening News, and Tongchuan Daily.Her students have been prizewinners in international competitions and have been accepted for graduate study to the Manhattan School of Music, Boston Conservatory, Royal Birmingham Conservatory, University of Leeds, University of Manchester and other such institutions.
